About Echo Hills Kennel Club
Goals
We are a nonprofit, service organization and are dedicated to the education of the dog owner and non-dog owner alike. Our club members are directly involved in actively striving toward humane treatment for all animals, including the necessary education and action for helping to curb the population explosion.
Activities
Our best known activity is the offering of obedience training classes. We have qualified and dedicated instructors for Kindergarten Puppy Training, Beginning obedience, Beginning Advance Obedience, Tracking and others. A very high percentage of our members actively participate in American Kennel Club shows and Obedience Trials.
Our members also work in many other areas of training their dogs, including Field work, Retrieving on land and in water, Open Class obedience, Tracking and others.
We also are active in presenting exhibitions with our dogs for community organizations and public functions. These are informative and aimed at stressing the responsibilities of dog ownership.
A very high percentage of our members actively participate in American Kennel Clubs shows and Obedience Trials.
Future
The Echo Hills Kennel Club of Ohio, Inc. has a bright future! We are planning even more activities and functions to interest our members and the general public. Our classes are limited in enrollment and their success has been outstanding. We are constantly criticizing ourselves in an effort to improve in every area. This technique yields a progressive attitude to our Club which seems to grow as if it were contagious!
